Welcome to The Green House Hotel – the greenest hotel in the UK.

Getting here has been quite a journey and we’re proud of what we have achieved: a beautiful boutique hotel that lives and breathes sustainability.

Opened in April 2010, the hotel is situated in Bournemouth, Dorset. We are within easy reach of Poole, Christchurch and the New Forest, and all the attractions that the area provides.

We source products for the hotel as locally as we can to reduce energy waste in transportation, and support local businesses.

We reduce, re-use and re-cycle to minimise energy consumption, waste and landfill. This also avoids unnecessary production and transportation of goods.

We look at the lifecycle of everything that comes into the hotel, consider where it will go afterwards and whether this will have an adverse impact on the environment.

We will only deal with organisations that have high welfare standards.

We are open and honest to our staff and customers.

Accommodation

The Green House offers 32 stunning guest rooms. All our rooms are beautifully furnished with bespoke, hand crafted furniture that has been made in the UK using natural and sustainable materials. Rooms fall into four categories - small double, double, large double and master double.

Small double room

Whilst small, these double rooms are beautifully furnished with a double bed (4ft6). All have a 32” LED flat screen TV, Bose sound dock, luxurious goose down duvets and crisp white organic bed linen. The bathrooms have natural stone basins, walk in showers and luxury toiletries.

Double room

Our double rooms are beautifully furnished. All have a King size bed (5ft), 32” LED flat screen TV, Bose sound dock, luxurious goose down duvets and crisp white organic bed linen. The bathrooms have natural stone basins, walk in showers and luxury toiletries

Large double and Master double rooms

Our large double and master double rooms are beautifully furnished. All have a stunning reclaimed Victorian roll top bath, super king bed (6ft), 32” LED flat screen TV, Bose sound dock, luxurious goose down duvets and crisp white organic bed linen. The bathrooms have natural stone basins, walk in showers, luxury toiletries, bathrobes and slippers.

Rates are per room per night inclusive of breakfast and VAT. Lower seasonal rates and special offers are often available - please see our website to check rate and room availability. Please note, twin rooms and rooms with extra beds and/or cots can only be booked by calling the hotel directly on 01202 498900. Check in time is from 3pm, check out time 11am.
