The Tattoo Parlour was opened in summer 2009 by the world renowned Scribe Tattooing team. Based in Pokesdown in Bournemouth, within easy reach of Poole, Christchurch and the surrounding areas, The Tattoo Parlour is a very special place where you can enjoy both something delicious to eat and also be tattooed by our top class artistes with unique designs of your own selection.

Our back story...

Scribe Tattooing was opened in 1999 by husband and wife team Simon and Caroline Read. After 10 very busy and successful years they decided to open The Tattoo Parlour. The idea behind the business was that they wanted to spend more time with their clients, they really liked the idea of feeding, watering and tattooing each person. The team had grown over the 10 years and the whole team was instrumental in the successful launch of the new baby.

The team is proud to have had 5541 clients in 2010 and is always excited to have their clients come back month after month, year after year. The whole team believes passionately in producing consistently excellent work, choosing the finest colour and equipment and maintaining the highest levels of hygiene.

This ethos is mirrored in the restaurant and tattoo café part of the business, The Tattoo Parlour, where the finest and freshest ingredients are chosen and the customer’s comfort is paramount.

A high level of customer service is core the belief of every team member and each member strives hard to make every customer’s visit an enjoyable and memorable one.
