Established in 1965 the AECC is the oldest and largest chiropractic college in Europe. For over 45 years the Anglo - European College of Chiropractic has been at the forefront of Chiropractic education and research.
The AECC is a dedicated institution focused on supporting the provision of a healthier society through education, research and clinical care at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
With a state of the art teaching clinic featuring 34 chiropractic treatment rooms, a sophisticated booking system, plus facilities for digital x-ray, fluoroscopy, diagnostic ultrasound and a functional rehabilitation centre, the AECC is the largest chiropractic clinic in Europe.
Students spend their final two years of study within the clinic under the supervision of Chiropractic tutors, providing a valuable service to the local community whilst gaining hands- on experience of treating real patients.

There are currently over 550 undergraduate students attending the college full-time on the chiropractic programme and around 120 postgraduate students studying on a part-time basis. What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is one of the largest healthcare professions in the world primarily concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation and rehabilitation of common musculoskeletal complaints.
The chiropractic degree offered at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) is accredited by the Council for Chiropractic Education in Europe and is therefore recognised globally.

In recent years almost 100% of all AECC graduates have gone on to find employment as a chiropractor and many have set up their own private clinic. In addition, chiropractic is a career with good levels of remuneration

Undergraduate Studies
BSc/MSc Chiropractic
The BSc/MSc Chiropractic degree is a full-time programme that runs over a 5-year period. Innovative, integrated and strongly vocational, the course is designed to train and prepare graduate chiropractors for professional practice as primary healthcare providers in modern society. The programme leads to an award of Master of Science in Chiropractic, which is an internationally recognised academic qualification.
BSc(Hons) Exercise Science (Health and Rehabilitation)
The course is intended to provide you with a firm foundation for safe and competent practice in the area of exercise programme design and implementation. It will also open up a wide range of opportunities for you to pursue a career in health care and/or further studies in health-related disciplines.
BSc(Hons) Community Health and Rehabilitation
This is a flexible 3-year programme oriented toward community health and rehabilitation, ideal for school leavers, career change individuals and healthcare professionals who want to develop or add to their skills and knowledge of community health. The delivery of the course allows students to stay in the workplace, while providing them with the necessary skills and background knowledge to work competently within a healthcare environment.
