Piercing

Here at Scribe we use nickel free surgical steel for our initial piercings, we choose this material for its safe and non-allergenic properties. The initial piercing jewellery is chosen to suit the piercing site and aid healing.

It is absolutely vital that the aftercare instructions are followed. Advice on aftercare is given before and after the piercing. We also give a printed version for you to take home. To view our aftercare advice, please see here.

Our back story...

Scribe Tattooing was opened in 1999 by husband and wife team Simon and Caroline Read. After 10 very busy and successful years they decided to open The Tattoo Parlour. The idea behind the business was that they wanted to spend more time with their clients, they really liked the idea of feeding, watering and tattooing each person. The team had grown over the 10 years and the whole team was instrumental in the successful launch of the new baby.

The team is proud to have had 5541 clients in 2010 and is always excited to have their clients come back month after month, year after year. The whole team believes passionately in producing consistently excellent work, choosing the finest colour and equipment and maintaining the highest levels of hygiene.

This ethos is mirrored in the restaurant part of the business, The Tattoo Parlour, where the finest and freshest ingredients are chosen and the customer’s comfort is paramount.

A high level of customer service is core the belief of every team member and each member strives hard to make every customer’s visit an enjoyable and memorable one.
