Welcome to Absolute Cakes and Desserts purveyors of the finest celebration cakes and luxury desserts here in Dorset. Based in Southbourne, here at Absolute Cakes and Desserts, we pride ourselves on baking and delivering cakes and desserts made to order for all occasions.
Whether it be a traditional wedding cake or a children's birthday celebration cake, we make all of our cakes to order and will design and decorate as you desire, thus delivering a truly individual cake.

We also specialise in making and delivering fabulous made-to-order desserts which are perfect for a dinner party or special occasion, always to impress!
Our fabulous desserts range from traditional cheese cakes, gateaux, seasonal fruit flans, chocolate tortes, Pavlovas, traditional puddings such as treacle tarts, lemon meringue pies and much more.
We use only the finest, highest quality ingredients in all our baking, including free range and locally-sourced produce whenever available.
All of our cakes and desserts are made to order therefore ensuring that your product is always fresh. Cakes can be turned around within a couple of days so don't panic if you've forgotten that special occasion or cannot find what you are looking for in the supermarkets!
We have a standard price list for celebration cakes which is available on request however our most popular cake is an 8-inch square cake which starts at £30 (this would be suitable for approximately 16 - 20 people).
If you are after a more bespoke cake, then please call us for an informal chat and we can quote on individual design, size and shape!
Whether you are a fruit cake or prefer a lighter sponge, we cater for all tastes including chocolate sponge, lemon sponge or anything else that you desire!
Does your child have a favourite super hero or TV character? If so, then here at Absolute Cakes and Desserts, we can make absolutely anything you wish to surprise your child and make their birthday that little more special!
