Diverse Abilities Plus will be able to add a few more names to its team of volunteers from now on. Tasty marketing Ltd of Poole has chosen to donate its marketing services to the local charity for the next twelve months. The company will provide their time to assist with copy writing and design for campaigns the charity are running which will fund the essential items needed for caring for children and adults with disabilities.
The local charity, also based in Poole, empowers children and adults with physical and learning disabilities through assistance, support and education. Whilst a proportion of the charity's income is state derived, they need to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year to deliver high levels of service and support for individuals and families and to buy vital medical, therapy and transport equipment.
"Despite 55 years of history and experience delivering invaluable services, Diverse Abilities Plus has a relatively low public profile, something we are working to address. With tastymarketingkindly supporting us we are excited about the progress that can be made this year,"explains Fundraising Manager, Helen Alexander.
Emma James, Managing Director of tasty marketing, makes it clear why they chose to support Diverse Abilities Plus; "We believe in supporting local organisations and Diverse Abilities Plus provides an essential service to people in the local community, supporting people with disabilities of all ages. We are very proud to be able to assist with their efforts."
If you or your company are in a position to help the charity in any way, it will be very worthwhile for both parties. From an individual giving up two hours to man a stand or paint a bedroom, to a company sponsoring an event, every minute of time and every penny donated will be very much appreciated.
