Running is a fantastic way to keep fit and Diverse Abilities, Dorset’s disability charity, is delighted to be able to offer places in the famous Giant’s Head Marathon taking place on 23 June 2018.

From coastline to countryside, the Giants Head Marathon offers a running route set in the stunning village of Sydling St. Nicholas. The course offers a challenge to participants because of the abundance of hills to overcome, but the beautiful views of West Dorset make for a fantastic reward and you get to run around and under the famous Cerne Giant.

As the ballot is now closed for the event, Diverse Abilities is offering places to a limited number of people for just £10 per person. The sponsorship target is £250 which will support children and adults living with disabilities in Dorset.

Lauren McCullough, events manager at Diverse Abilities, said: “We are very pleased to be able to offer charity places for this event. It is a great opportunity for those that enjoy running to take part in this marathon, while supporting a local charity and raising vital funds.”

By taking part in this running event, your fundraising could achieve the daily cost to run the advice service to provide guidance and support, specialist toys for children with disabilities to play with, a day’s vital medical supplies for the children at the charity’s specialist school and much more.
