Tiien Restaurant, opened recently, has already attracted the attention of Thai food lovers, making it the place to go for an authentic Thai cuisine experience.

The beautiful entrance and friendly staff offer you a traditional, warm welcome to a wonderful experience, where you will find everything you need for a fantastic Thai meal, followed by a couple of drinks in the attractive lounge bar with an exclusive decor that takes your imagination on a journey into the heart of Thai culture.

Tiien Restaurant has created a fantastic menu that takes you on a magical adventure of tastes and textures.

It presents you with a complete and diverse list of Starters, Salads, Soups, Curries, Stir-fried dishes, Scallop (Hoy Shell), Fish (Pla), Noodles, Rice and Vegetable side dishes. You can also order Set Menus (minimum of two people) and Chef’s Specials for something a little different.

The starters include prawns, fried vegetables, barbecue chicken, fried pork, aromatic duck, steamed mussels with chillies, or my choice, the mixed starter (included in the Set Menu Thai B), which includes a selection of spring rolls, barbecue chicken wings, chicken satay, prawn toast and fish cakes; all served with peanut sauce, sweet chilli sauce and cucumber salsa. This turned out to be an excellent choice; nicely presented vegetables and a delicious variety of sauces with lots of colour and a mixture of flavours.

The Tom Kha soup is highly recommended; spicy soup with coconut milk, galangal, mushrooms, lemon grass, lime juice and kaffir lime leaves - the perfect appetiser.

For the main course, we chose Massaman Gai (a delicious curry with chicken, diced potatoes, and peanuts) and the Plakrapong Nueng Manao (steamed fish of the day with a chilli lemon sauce), which was a wonderful combination of aromatic tastes. This Set Menu includes three side dishes; stir-fried vegetables with oyster sauce, stir-fried noodles with chicken and steamed Thai jasmine rice. This was followed by seasonal fresh fruit as a dessert.

This was an extraordinary variety of different tastes, a fantastic curry and fresh vegetables – all beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.

The restaurant has seating for 120 people, a special private room beautifully decorated for private parties or meetings, with presentation facilities and free wi-fi for conference lunches, business meetings and corporate events, plus a wonderfully spacious and magical lounge bar; beautifully decorated in a unique style.

Prices for the starters range between £2.50 - £9.95, main courses £6.95 - £13.95 and Set Menus from £16.95 per person (minimum of 2 people), which includes a starter, soup, main course and side dishes.
