Wogan Meets Children In Need Fun Train Fundraiser

Broadcaster Terry Wogan met hundreds of fans who queued at Castlepoint's Waterstones to obtain a signed copy of Wogan's Ireland, which details the history of his life before moving to the UK and starting his career with the BBC. First in line was retired aircraft engineer Joe Prior, 67 from Kinson, who since 1999 has raised over £33,000 for Children In Need.

"It was great to meet Terry as he has been very encouraging and will often mention on Radio 2 where and when I use my children's fun train to fundraise," said Joe Prior.

The Fun Train will be operating in conjunction with ASDA at Castlepoint on Saturday, 19th November between 09.00 am and 05.00 pm to fundraise for Children In Need.
