Cherries Light up Iconic Bournemouth Venue

AFC Bournemouth has worked hard to build a reputation as a family club that is in touch with the local community, and is looking to make further progress with a new step in their partnership with the Bournemouth International Centre.

The Cherries will be placing adverts on the big screen at the entrance to the BIC, which will be seen by thousands of visitors and passers by.

The club is excited about recent on and off field developments, and the move is part of the club's drive to raise and enhance its profile in the local community.

The BIC is one of the most well known buildings in the Bournemouth area, and is popular with local residents who enjoy their facilities and high profile musicians, comedians and artists from around the world who perform at the venue.

The BIC is also situated close to the town's seafront and sees thousands of locals pass every day, as well as tourists throughout the year.

Chairman Eddie Mitchell said, "We are very proud of the progress we are making on and off the field, and we want to share that with the whole town.

"We want people to know we are doing well, that we have great facilities and that we are signing good players. We are working hard to build a team that the town can be proud of, and we believe the next few years will be some of the best the club has ever seen.

"Having an advert on at the BIC is just another step in that process, thousands of people walk past it every day and now they will see our crest there."
