Splashdown and AFC Bournemouth ‘The Perfect Match’
Splashdown of Tower Park in Poole has been unveiled as the new Official Partner of AFC Bournemouth's Junior Cherries.
The indoor water park has linked up with Dorset's top football team in an 18-month deal which will see the club's Junior Cherries receive exclusive offers, great discounts and parties galore at the wet and wild family favourite.
AFC Bournemouth Junior Cherries coordinator, Serena Stone said, "We announced at the beginning of the season that we were searching for a sponsor for our young supporters club and Splashdown were always high on the list.
"Splashdown is the premier family attraction in the Bournemouth and Poole area, and it makes complete sense for us to work together.
"We can offer them them a captive audience of over 1000 Junior Cherries and they give us the pull of a top-quality leisure attraction to add to the package that we offer our under-16 supporters."
The Junior Cherries boast a hoard of benefits for young fans including a mix of open training sessions, match-day mascot opportunities and discounts a-plenty at the Club Store.
Jackie Richmond, Marketing Manager for Splashdown Poole and their sister waterpark at Quaywest in Paignton, Devon said, "We are delighted to be involved with AFC Bournemouth, as we feel there is a real buzz around the club at the moment and they are most definitely a football team on the up.
"We already have a great deal of customers in the local area and from further afield, and I'm sure we can spread the word about AFC Bournemouth, and in turn they will encourage their Junior Cherries to visit us at Tower Park.
"We are all massive football fans in my household and we believe that Splashdown and the Cherries are the perfect match."
In the summer the club announced that Junior Cherries membership had hit 1000 for the first time in its history, and after the annual drop-off in the close season, December 2011 once again saw them reach that milestone.
