Since August 2008, Colt 45 has amazed audiences with their incredible live shows at their own sold out concerts, local pubs, music venues and festivals. With well over 100 gigs under their belt, performing to tens of thousands of people, this band has attracted attention on both sides of the Atlantic.
As Colt 45, they have been one of the busiest bands on the local scene and always in hot demand with an ever increasing fan base; however, their days as a cover band are to coming to an end as they now look to focus on their future as original artists.
Lostprophets released their first album, 'thefakesoundofprogress', just over ten years ago. Ten. Years. They've been years of shifts in both style and attitude as the band made the ascent through the British rock spectrum. Their forthcoming fifth record promises to encompass all the sound and experience that Lostprophets have developed along the way. It's simultaneously a return to form, reminiscent of the chaos of their early work, and an expression of newfound maturity and growth.
How better to celebrate the evolution of Lostprophets than with a quick return to roots? This summer, the band is ticking all boxes. For a chance to warm up after nearly a year away from the stage and a chance to remind fans of the excitement and intensity that has sustained Lostprophets' career for over a decade, the band is playing four special gigs in addition to their previously announced festival appearances. Oxford, Bournemouth, Cardiff and Norwich, prepare yourselves now.
