Jane McDonald ‘Making Memories’ tour

Following her smash hit TV series ‘Cruising with Jane McDonald’, the showbiz legend and household favourite is extending her ‘Making Memories’ tour by public demand, taking in 14 additional dates this year.

Exalted as her best show yet, Jane performs audience favourites of self - penned songs such as The Hand That Leads Me to stunning medleys of Cilla’s hits, a nod to her role as Grizabella in Cats and everyone’s favourite disco hits from Boogie Wonderland to Let’s Groove and, of course, her signature hit ‘Dizzy’. Jane enthuses “I knew Making Memories was special when I took it on the road last year with my fabulous band, but to be extending it to fourteen more dates is just so overwhelming. I’m so thrilled with this show and every night feels fresh and my fans make me feel blessed”.

Exhibitions on Screen – Michelango: Love and Death

To coincide with a glorious new exhibition at the National Gallery of London, this film offers a full and fresh biography of Michelangelo who, with Leonardo, is considered one of the greatest artists of the Renaissance – and perhaps of all time. Potential suitors appear in the shape of the dashing Bollywood actor, Amit and his newly eligible cousin Ronny, a withdrawn young man. So what could possibly go wrong?

Free Club for Children with Disabilities

Langside School, a special school for children between two and 19 located in Poole, launched the Caterpillar Club last year with the aim of providing pre-schoolers with disabilities an opportunity for free, fun and friendly play. Nearly a year later, the Caterpillar Club continues to do exactly that and opens its doors every Monday morning from 10am – 11.30am for children across Dorset and Hampshire.

Bournemouth based chef Sarah Ali Choudhury to appear on Channel 4 My Kitchen Rules this week.

Sarah Ali is an experienced chef and restaurant manager with an Indian and Caribbean background. Being a mother of four Sarah understands that time is precious. Meals need to be prepared quickly and easily and yet they need to taste delicious!

Sarah was recently selected to compete in a reality cooking show for Channel 4, My Kitchen Rules UK, which is on air during the month of October. The show is split into several parts with Sarah’s main part being aired this week, 17th – 21st of October.
