Eggs-quisite family fun at Knoll House Hotel
A host of family-friendly activities will be available at Knoll House Hotel, Studland, during the Easter holidays including Easter egg hunts, family fun days and treasure hunts.
The hotel will also be hosting a children’s writing competition for those staying over the Easter weekend. Guests are invited to join the team in the Wardroom on Saturday, March 31 to let their imagination run wild and write a short story. Entries must be submitted to reception by 10am on Easter Sunday for the winner to be announced at midday.
There will be three age categories ranging from five through to 16 years of age. Everyone who enters will win an Easter egg, and the grand prize for each age category will be an overnight stay with breakfast for two adults and two children.
Tracy Tennant, general manager at Knoll House, commented: “We’re excited to be hosting the writing competition over the Easter weekend; especially as the Isle of Purbeck has such strong links to Enid Blyton and Ian Fleming. It’s a great chance to get into the spirit of adventure and what better location than to be surrounded by nature.”
Tracy is a judge in this year’s BBC Radio 2 500 Words competition, with the winning story being revealed in June.
Easter offers for staying at the hotel start from £400 for two nights in an Inland Room, and includes two nights dinner at the recently refurbished restaurant. This package is subject to availability between Friday, March 30 and Sunday, April 15. Children’s meals will be charged as taken.
