Kids Love Nature
A new nature Kindergarten is due to open in Lytchett Minster following the success of 4 ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated nurseries in Dorset and Hampshire.
Kids Love Nature have announced that their Kindergartens are growing, with the signed completion of a 5th site replacing the recently closed Learning Tree Nursery. Work is currently being done on the Kindergarten to ensure it’s ready for children to join in September.
‘We are extensively renovating the kindergarten. The outdoor space is being remodelled with lots of exciting new features. Indoors there will be a full refurbishment with a new art room, classrooms for 1, 2 and 3+-year-olds, plus new play equipment throughout.’ – Ben Walliman, Director of Kids Love Nature Ltd.
With a strong connection to the outdoors, Kids Love Nature recognises the importance of children’s education, focusing on independence, creativity, freedom and setting children up to thrive into adulthood.
Ben Walliman and Alex Shepherd, founders of Kids Love Nature, set up their first Kindergarten in Avon Heath in 2012. With over 30 years experience between them in early years education, they wanted to create an educational approach that integrated unique outdoor areas and beautiful indoor learning spaces.
“The Kindergarten at Lytchett is going to fit the same education model that our others do. We encourage children to learn key skills that will help them later on in life, through enjoying the activities children should be doing, such as playing outside in all weathers, building dens and exploring the great outdoors.” – Ben Walliman
Kids Love Nature plan to make huge improvements to the building and garden before opening in September and are taking this an opportunity to give the community something different for their child’s education.
“Many parents have asked us when we will be setting up a nursery with good links to both Poole and Dorchester. When this opportunity came up it was the perfect setting for us, and fitted all our key criteria.” – Alex Sheppard.
The Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Lytchett Minster will be holding an Open Day on Saturday 23rd June for families to attend. Ben, Alex, the Lytchett Kindergarten Manager plus other staff members will be present to answer any questions, whilst also giving children the opportunity to try many hands-on activities, such as baking, gardening, and den building.
“The perfect environment to leave your precious little ones!” – Rebecca, Parent at Kids Love Nature
The Kindergarten will be available for children aged 1 – 5 years old and will accept the 30 hours free government funding. For more information, enrollment details, or to book a place at the open day visit www.kidslovenature.co.uk/Lytchett-minster/ or call on 01202 622337
