MyLife Christchurch, a local home care and companionship provider, is looking to appoint twenty new care assistants who are compassionate, considerate and wish to make a real difference to the lives of others.
MyLife Christchurch, which recently expanded into Ferndown, Wimborne and Corfe Mullen, is holding an open day at its offices on Fairmile Road on Thursday 19 July between 10am and 4pm. It is inviting those interested in a career in care to call in for a cup of tea and a chat with its experienced staff, who will answer any questions.
MyLife’s care assistants perform a vital role in the local community by helping people maintain their independence in the sanctuary of their own homes. Care assistants undertake household tasks, provide personal care and, importantly, provide valuable companionship by accompanying customers on shopping and social outings or simply fixing them a cup of tea.
The chosen twenty will join MyLife’s growing team as it seeks to meet the needs of vulnerable customers in Christchurch and its surrounding areas. Several of the vacancies are to provide live-in care, where care assistants actually live with their customers.
Tracie Gregory, MyLife’s registered care manager, says: “Our amazing care assistants are the lifeblood of our organisation, and we are now looking for more likeminded people to join our fantastic team. This is a demanding but fulfilling career, which offers a sense of job satisfaction unlike no other through supporting vulnerable people who need a little extra support in later life.
“We offer a £250 welcome bonus to new starters after they complete the first three months of service. If you believe you have the right qualities, we’d love to hear from you.”
Those working for MyLife benefit from competitive rates of pay and flexible hours. The company offers full training and ongoing mentoring support to every successful candidate, so no experience is necessary.
MyLife is dedicated to its care assistants and supports them whole-heartedly by paying for them to take care-related qualifications and offering opportunities to progress as quickly as possible.
Those wanting to discuss the exciting career opportunities at MyLife Christchurch should call Tracie Gregory or Louise Pidgeon on 01202 474300 or drop by office for the open day at Fairmile Parade, Fairmile Road, Christchurch, BH23 2LP.
